Putting the finishing touches on a dominant conference meet, Stanford repeated as Pac-12 champions in 2023 and claimed the hardware for the sixth time in seven seasons.

The Cardinal totaled 1725.5 points, its most since scoring 1,775 in 2019 while producing the second-largest margin of victory at the conference championships in the last 27 years. Stanford, which captured its 25th conference title in program history, handily distanced itself from runner-up USC (1267.5) and third-place California (1260.5).Named Pac-12 Swimmer of the Meet for the second consecutive season, Torri Huske came away with seven individual titles, winning the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly in addition to participating on four winning relay teams.Claire Curzan closed out an impressive week in her conference meet debut, producing a meet record of 1:47.43 in the 200-yard backstroke on the way to winning five titles overall.Aurora Roghair captured her first career Pac-12 title with a 16:02.28 in the 1,650-yard freestyle.One month later, Stanford also swept the conference awards, with Huske as Pac-12 Swimmer of the Year, Curzan as Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and Paul A. Violich Director of Women's Swimming Greg Meehan as the Pac-12 Coach of the Year.

Among Stanford's 36 CSC Academic All-Americans in the 2022-23 campaign were first-time honorees Allie Raab, Taylor Ruck and Morgan Tankersley. It's the first time women's swimming and diving has featured its own category, having previously been part of the At-Large program. Raab and Tankersley were named to the first team while Ruck was tabbed a second-team pick.To be eligible, student-athletes must carry a 3.50 cumulative GPA or higher and be at least a sophomore academically a significant contributor. All three were also named CSCAA Scholar All-Americans.

Taylor Ruck was awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship for her academic and athletic achievements. NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship winners receive a one-time grant of $10,000. In addition to maintaining at least a 3.2 grade-point average, they must perform with distinction in their sport and be nominated by their institution's faculty athletics representative. A member of Stanford's 2019 NCAA title squad and four-time Olympic medalist, Ruck is also a four-time NCAA individual champion, 19-time All-American and eight-time Pac-12 champion. Ruck completed her collegiate career while majoring in human biology and co-terming in Earth systems. Ruck's coursework toward a master's of science could open potential careers in areas such as marine ecology, sustainability and biogeochemistry, with close attention to examining threats to the longevity and adaptability of life on Earth. Ruck also remains focused on making the Canadian Olympic team for Paris 2024.
